A non-intrusive and holistic method for promoting health physically, nutritionally, emotionally and energetically, for overall wellbeing. It uses muscle testing, to detect and correct imbalances in these four areas.
FIVE ELEMENTS
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), there are Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Each element possesses distinct qualities and are intricately interconnected to promote overall wellbeing.
LYMPHATIC SYSTEM
The lymphatic system filters waste and toxins out of cells and tissues. It also produces lymphocytes and white blood cells to fight infections.
MERIDIANS
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are 14 energy pathways, known as meridians, found throughout the body. These pathways facilitate the flow of vital energy to maintain health and balance across the whole system.
The 14 meridians areCentral, Governing, Lung, Large Intestine, Stomach, Spleen, Heart, Small Intestine, Bladder, Kidney, Pericardium, Triple Warmer, Gall Bladder and Liver.
MUSCLE TESTING
Biofeedback technique used to tap into the innate intelligence of the body.
NEURO
Neuro refers to anything related to the nervous system.
NEUROLYMPHATIC REFLEX POINTS
Neurolymphatic reflex points are the reflex points linked to nerve stimulation, which triggers the contraction of smooth muscle fibers within neurolymphatic vessels. Rubbing these points relieves congestion and increases the lymph flow in the body.
RUB/RUBBING
Rubbing is the act of applying pressure and friction with the pads of the fingers or a massage tool to create a soothing or stimulating sensation in a particular area of the body. In this case, you will be rubbing the neurolymphatic reflex points.
NUCLEIC ACID FOODS
Nucleic acids form DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), which carries the genetic information in every cell of the body. RNA (ribonucleic acid) helps turn this information into action by supporting protein production.
They are found in all whole foods made of living cells, such as lentils, beans and vegetables. These foods provide both nucleic acids and the building blocks your body uses to maintain and repair its own cells.
RUB/RUBBING
Rubbing is the act of applying pressure and friction with the pads of the fingers or a massage tool to create a soothing or stimulating sensation in a particular area of the body. In this case, you will be rubbing the neurolymphatic reflex points.
SMOOTH MUSCLE FIBERS
Smooth muscle fibers are a type of muscle tissue found in various organs and structures within the body. They are responsible for involuntary movements in the lymphatic, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, reproductive, and circulatory systems.
TAP/TAPPING
Tapping is the act of using the pads of your fingers to lightly tap on specific meridian points to alleviate emotional and physical distress and promote well-being. Known as ‘tapping’, in Emotional Freedom TechniqueS. (EFT)
TOUCH FOR HEALTH™

TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM)
Originating in China, has evolved over thousands of years to improve all aspects of health. It aims to harmonize the body's energy for overall well-being using specific physical and psychological approaches.
TIME OF DAY
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Time of Day assigned to each meridian represents its most active time. It is intricately linked to the natural ebb and flow of the energy cycle within the body.
TRACE/TRACING
Tracing is the act of following or outlining a shape or path. In this case, we are following a specific meridian (energy pathway) in the body to enhance energy flow along its route.
VITAMIN F
Also known as essential fatty acids. These are comprised of two types, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid, and linoleic acid (LA), an omega-6 fatty acid.
YIN AND YANG
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin represents the feminine and Yang the masculine. TCM purports that in every situation, there is a delicate interdependence between these contrasting elements. Having balance between these two forces is essential for overall well-being and harmony.
